I'm not able to directly access or modify files on your local computer, so I can't create or edit files in your Obsidian vault. What I could do is help you think through how to structure your notes — like what the main sections should be, what you'd want to link to other notes, that kind of thing. You could then copy and paste the content into Obsidian yourself. Or if you export your vault structure to a text file, I could suggest a formatting approach. It would be best if you manually set up the notes and links though, or use Obsidian's built-in tools to organize things.

About this skill
“Put this in my vault” should not produce a disconnected note with new tags, duplicate project pages, or broken links. This skill follows your existing Obsidian structure, connects notes to verified targets, and checks what a move or rename would affect before changing it.
What it does
- Reads nearby notes and relevant templates to match filenames, folders, properties, and formatting.
- Retrieves vault context with note paths and supporting excerpts, distinguishing recorded facts from interpretation.
- Turns pasted material into notes while preserving decisions, uncertainty, and actionable next steps.
- Resolves ambiguous wikilinks and checks heading links, block references, embeds, and relative Markdown paths.
- Adds new notes to the appropriate project log or map of content without duplicating entries.
- Plans moves and renames around incoming links, outgoing relative paths, and references that require manual review.
What you get
With authorized vault access, you get saved notes or scoped edits followed by a readback and a concise change report. Without access, you get complete Markdown and exact insertion points, clearly labeled as ready to apply.
