1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored as a hashed value — we never store plaintext passwords). If you sign up using a third-party provider such as Google, we receive your name and email from that provider.

1.2 Subscription and Billing Data

When you subscribe to AgentVolt Pro or initiate a trial, we collect records of your subscription status, billing period, and plan. Payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment credentials.

1.3 Download and Skill Access Data

When you download or access a skill, we record the skill name and version, the download or access timestamp, your account identifier, and your IP address at the time of access. This data is used to enforce subscription entitlements and to detect unauthorized redistribution of skills.

1.4 MCP Server Usage Data

When you use the AgentVolt MCP server, we collect records of API key usage, including: skill discovery and search queries made through the MCP, skill installs or downloads initiated via the MCP, session timestamps, and the source of each request. This data is used to operate the MCP service, enforce access controls, and calculate Partner revenue attribution.

1.5 Partner Data

If you register as a Partner, we additionally collect: your Partner profile information (bio, links), submitted skill files and SKILL.md metadata, security scan results for each submission, listing descriptions and pricing, and payout information via Stripe Connect.

1.6 Affiliate Data

If you participate in the Affiliate Program, we collect your affiliate link usage, attributed click data, referred sign-ups and purchases, and commission balances. We use a last-click, 90-day cookie to track referral attribution.

1.7 Technical and Usage Data

We automatically collect limited technical data when you use the Platform, including browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this data solely for Platform operations, security monitoring, and abuse prevention. We do not use third-party analytics services for behavioral tracking.

1.8 Communications

If you contact us via email or through Platform support channels, we collect the contents of your communications and any information you provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 To Operate the Platform

We use your information to: create and manage your account; process and verify subscription access; provide access to skills via the Platform and MCP server; enforce subscription entitlements and download permissions; calculate and distribute Partner payouts; manage affiliate commissions; send transactional emails (account confirmations, subscription notices, payment receipts); and maintain Platform security and integrity.

2.2 To Improve the Platform

We use aggregated, non-identifiable usage data to understand how the Platform is used and to improve its features and performance. We do not sell individual usage data or profiles to third parties.

2.3 To Detect and Prevent Fraud and Abuse

We use account, download, MCP usage, and affiliate data to detect and prevent: unauthorized redistribution of skills, multi-account abuse, API key sharing, affiliate self-referrals and click farming, subscription trial abuse, and other violations of our Terms of Service.

2.4 To Comply with Legal Obligations

We may process your information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful legal process (subpoenas, court orders), fulfill tax reporting obligations, and enforce our Terms.

3. Cookies and Tracking

AgentVolt uses minimal cookies:

Authentication cookie: A session cookie used to keep you logged in. This is essential for Platform functionality.

Referral attribution cookie: When you arrive at AgentVolt via an affiliate link, we set a cookie storing the affiliate code. This cookie expires after 90 days and is used solely to attribute affiliate commissions.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party behavioral tracking, or analytics cookies. We do not share cookie data with advertisers.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Payment Processor

We share payment-related information with Stripe, Inc. to process subscription payments, Partner payouts via Stripe Connect, and affiliate payouts. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. We do not store your payment card details.

4.2 Infrastructure and Hosting Providers

We use third-party cloud infrastructure providers to host the Platform, database, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

4.3 Partner IP Protection

Download records, including account identifiers and IP addresses, may be used to investigate unauthorized redistribution of a Partner's skill. In such cases, limited information may be shared with the affected Partner for enforcement purposes.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of AgentVolt, our users, or the public.

4.5 Business Transfers

If AgentVolt LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and your continued use of the Platform will constitute consent to the transfer.

4.6 No Sale of Personal Data

AgentVolt does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention

Account information: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Subscription and billing records: Retained for 7 years after the transaction date to comply with applicable tax and accounting obligations.

Download and MCP usage records: Retained for 2 years after the date of activity.

Partner submission data: Retained for as long as the skill is listed on the Platform, plus 2 years after removal.

Affiliate data: Commission records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Attribution cookie data expires after 90 days.

Communications: Retained for 2 years after the last interaction, unless a longer period is required for ongoing disputes or legal proceedings.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including: encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS); hashed password storage; access controls limiting who within AgentVolt can access personal data; and monitoring for unauthorized access. No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@agentvolt.ai immediately.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and shared, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (AgentVolt does not sell personal information).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@agentvolt.ai. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

8. Children's Privacy

AgentVolt is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at support@agentvolt.ai.

9. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services (such as AI agent platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy at agentvolt.ai/privacy and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send a notice to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
