This skill reads your timed transcript and finds where each topic really changes. It writes chapter titles that match what viewers search for, then checks the whole list against YouTube's rules before you paste it.
What it does
- Finds real topic changes in an SRT, VTT, or timestamped transcript, not evenly spaced cuts, and shows the transcript line behind each timestamp
- Sets each timestamp at the start of the sentence that changes the topic, so viewers don't land mid-thought
- Writes short, specific titles that open with the words people search for, and that still read well in the player's progress bar
- Checks the list against YouTube's chapter rules: starts at 0:00, at least three chapters, times in order, minimum chapter length, one consistent format
- Catches common problems: a transcript from the raw recording that no longer matches the final edit, transcripts without timestamps, sponsor segments, and chapters that are too short
- Rewrites chapters you already have, with a short reason for each change
