Beforegeneric AI agent
A logo brief should explain your brand values, the style you're going for, and what you want the logo to communicate. You might describe some visual directions or reference existing logos you like. The brief should be clear about who your target audience is and what makes your brand unique. Including some examples of design styles you prefer can help the designer understand your vision. Do you have a sense of whether you want something modern or classic?

DESIGNER-READY LOGO BRIEF

BRAND ESSENCE:
"We make software development faster for distributed teams." Target: CTOs and engineering managers at 50-500 person companies. Personality: approachable + technically rigorous (not corporate, not indie).

VISUAL LANGUAGE:
"Simplicity with hidden depth. Something a developer would respect, not dismiss."

STYLE DIRECTION: Geometric/minimalist. Reference logos: GitHub (understated mark), Vercel (clean letterform), Figma (bold but simple). Avoid: Gradients, bevels, skeuomorphism, clichéd developer symbols (terminal windows, code brackets).

COLOR INTENT: Primary mark: Neutral (black, dark gray, white). Accent color: One vibrant secondary (not neon) for UI deployment. System must work: monochrome on terminal, full-color on marketing site, single-color reverse on swag.

VISUAL METAPHOR (optional direction):
Mark should evoke motion/speed without being obvious. Consider: stacked layers (build efficiency), circular motion (iteration/CI-CD cadence), interlocking shapes (team connection). NO: gears, rockets, arrows pointing right.

MARKS TO EXPLORE (give designer 2-3 directions):
1. GEOMETRIC ABSTRACTION: Three interlocking angular shapes suggesting "linked commits" or "distributed systems."
2. LETTER-BASED: Custom initials forming a stable, recognizable mark (like Slack's, but sharper).
3. SYMBOL-BASED: Single mark representing speed (spinning element or stacked layers).

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Mark must render legibly at 16px favicon size. Logo works with or without wordmark. Scalable to billboard size. Flexible on orientation (square, rectangular, isolated mark).

DO NOT: Overload with detail. Make designer justify every line. This is a tool for developers—fewer is better.
