Canvas Design (Posters, Graphics, Static Art)
Canvas Design is different from Griffin's UI skills — it's for creating actual visual art: posters, graphics, and static design pieces as real PNG and PDF files. Step one, Claude writes a design philosophy — an aesthetic manifesto that defines a visual movement, its principles, forms, colors, and composition rules. Step two, it executes that philosophy on a canvas as a real image file. It designs from principles first, useful for event posters, social graphics, abstract art for presentations, or quickly exploring a visual direction.
What you get
- Written design philosophy / aesthetic manifesto (visual movement, principles, forms, colors, composition rules)
- rendered PNG file
- rendered PDF file
- poster and social-graphic outputs
- abstract art for decks
Customize your output
- Output format: PNG, PDF, or both
- Piece type: poster, social graphic, abstract art, event flyer
- Aesthetic direction: user-specified or generated
Example output
For a Brooklyn warehouse show poster, Claude first drafts a philosophy called Fractured Grid (sharp diagonal type on a stained cream field, oxidized-copper accent, no rounded shapes), then renders it as a 24x36 PNG and a print-ready PDF.
Best for
Designers and non-designers exploring visual directions or producing quick static art in Claude
