Brand Launch Asset Inventory and Gap Audit
A launch checklist of brand assets in build order, each with a pass/fail spec, plus a strict audit of the assets you already have.
Before & after
Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.
Launching a brand requires putting together a lot of different assets, and what you need really depends on how you plan to go to market. You'll definitely want visual identity stuff—logo, color palette, typography. Then there's content—you might need website pages, social media graphics, maybe business cards or other print materials. You could also think about email templates, presentation templates, ads if you're running marketing. The specific combination really depends on your business model, your target audience, and which platforms matter most to you. If you can tell me more about what you're selling, who you're selling to, and which channels are most important, I can help you build a more targeted asset list.

About this skill
Your logo is a single PNG. Your green is a different shade in every template. Your designer keeps asking which file is the real one. This skill builds the complete list of assets your brand needs before launch, puts it in build order, and gives each item a pass/fail spec. It also grades the assets you already have, so a file only counts as done when it actually matches the spec.
What it does
- Puts every asset in one of five tiers by what it depends on: decisions, core identity, variants, channel assets, and governance. You never build social templates before your colors are final.
- Gives every item a testable spec instead of just a name. For example: "reversed logo, SVG plus transparent PNG, readable at 24px on dark backgrounds."
- Maps out the logo versions you need, with clear-space and minimum-size rules, and tests whether the icon still reads at favicon size and inside a circular avatar.
- Checks your colors against accessibility contrast standards (WCAG), font licenses, email-safe fallback fonts, and dark mode before anything ships.
- Audits existing assets as DONE, NEEDS UPDATE, MISSING, or BLOCKED, and finds where the brand has drifted, such as two greens or three logo versions in use.
- Splits the work into launch-day must-haves and things that can wait, so the launch list is short enough to finish.
What you get
A table of assets in build order, with a spec, dependencies, priority, status, and owner for each. It also includes the critical path, the top gaps to fix first, a list of what can wait, and no more than three questions.
Best for
Creators, solo founders, and small teams launching a brand or sub-brand, handing their brand to a new designer, or cleaning up a brand that looks different on every channel.

description: Builds a launch-prioritized list of every brand asset a launch needs, in dependency order (identity decisions, logo variant matrix, color and type specs, channel templates, voice reference, file system), gives each a pass/fail spec, and audits existing assets as done, needs update, missing, or blocked. Use when the user says "what brand assets do we need before launch", "make me a brand checklist", "audit our brand assets", "we're launching a sub-brand next month", "our brand looks different everywhere", "my logo looks terrible as a favicon", "handing our brand to a new designer, what do they need".
