Before & after

Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.

Prompt“Write a TikTok voiceover script for my productivity app — make it snappy.”
Beforegeneric AI agent
I can write a voiceover script for you. For TikTok, you'd want something short and punchy, probably 15-30 seconds, that explains what your app does and why someone should use it. You'd want to include a hook at the start to grab attention, explain the main benefit, and then tell people how to get it. The tone should be conversational and match your brand voice. You could include some personality and humor if that fits your brand. It would help to know what your app does, who uses it, and what the main pain point is that it solves. Do you have details about the app you'd like me to work with?
Afterwith Short-Form Voiceover Scripts Timed to the Second
VOICEOVER SCRIPT — TASK MANAGER APP (60 sec TikTok)

HOOK (0-3 sec) — fast, energetic
   "Your to-do list is broken."

PROBLEM (3-10 sec)
"You write down 23 tasks, complete three, feel like a failure. Apps make it worse — they're slow, cluttered, give you decision paralysis."

SOLUTION (10-20 sec)
"We built one that just works. Add task in two taps. See what matters today. Done."

SOCIAL PROOF (20-28 sec)
"Twenty thousand people ditched their old app for us. Average 4.8 stars."

CALL TO ACTION (28-30 sec)
"Download free. First week no paywall. Link in bio."

TIMING NOTES
   • Pause 0.5 sec after "is broken" (let it sink)
   • Speed up at "we built" (builds momentum)
   • Slow down for number drop ("twenty thousand")
   • 30 sec total = fits TikTok short-form cutoff

About this skill

Your voiceover runs 8 seconds long every time you record it. It sounds like you're reading an essay, and half of it describes what's already on screen. This skill writes short-form narration that fits the runtime on the first take, because it does the math before it writes.

What it does

  • Works out a word budget from runtime and pace, then counts words the way they're spoken. Numbers, symbols, and pauses all cost time.
  • Writes a hook of under 8 words for the first 2 seconds that matches your opening shot
  • Rewrites blog posts, captions, or product copy into lines that sound natural out loud: one breath per sentence, stress word last, no parentheticals
  • Splits the work between voice and picture, so the voiceover adds the why instead of describing the footage
  • Fits narration to an edit you've already cut, segment by segment, from your timestamps
  • Catches problems that hurt a recording: tongue-twisters, words a text-to-speech voice misreads, two numbers in one line, and too many points for the runtime

What you get

A timed script table showing each line written as it's spoken, a word count per beat, and on-screen notes. You also get the total spoken words and estimated seconds, two alternate hooks, and a one-line recording note.

Best for

Faceless channels, creators who record their own voiceover, brands making Reels and TikToks over B-roll or screen recordings, and editors who need narration fitted to a finished cut.
