Prompt“Plan a 5-part TikTok series on personal finance mistakes.”
Beforegeneric AI agent
You could create a series around common mistakes people make with money. Each episode would introduce one mistake and explain why it's a problem. You might structure it so viewers want to watch the next episode to learn the solution or see another example. The key is making each part engaging enough to stand alone while also building curiosity for the full series. Consistency with posting frequency will help build momentum. What finance mistakes do you see people make most often?

SHORTFORM SERIES BLUEPRINT: "5 Money Mistakes That Wreck Your Future"

SERIES STRUCTURE (5 episodes, sequential)

EPISODE 1: "The 40% Lie" (Savings rate myth)
Hook (first 2 seconds): "Everyone says save 40%. They're wrong."
Body: Explain why percentage-based savings fails for people earning under 100k. You need a DOLLAR target, not a percentage.
Cliffhanger: "Mistake 2 is why you keep breaking your budget anyway."
CTA: Follow for part 2 tomorrow.

EPISODE 2: "Subscriptions Kill Dreams" (Hidden leakage)
Hook: "This ONE line item costs you $140k by retirement."
Body: Audit your subscriptions, show calculator (Spotify + Netflix + apps = $28/month = $11.3k over 40 years at 7% growth).
Cliffhanger: "But mistake 3 is the REAL wealth killer."

EPISODE 3: "Debt Snowball Theater" (False priority)
Hook: "Gurus lie about paying debt first."
Body: High-interest debt (credit cards) vs low-interest (student loans). Strategy depends on rate spread, not order. Show math.
Cliffhanger: "Mistake 4 undoes everything."

EPISODE 4: "Compound Interest Math" (Starting late penalty)
Hook: "Starting at 30 vs 25 costs you 200k."
Body: $200/month at 22 years old = $840k by 65. Same $200 at 30 = $410k. Compound interest visualization (bar chart).
Cliffhanger: "One final mistake ties it all together."

EPISODE 5: "Your Money Identity Crisis" (Lifestyle creep)
Hook: "You keep failing because you're competing with others."
Body: Lifestyle inflation grows with income (raises, bonuses). Success = spending staying flat while income rises.
CTA: Series complete. Watch all 5. Subscribe for weekly finance audits.

PLATFORM NOTES:
TikTok: Post 6-8pm EST (peak teen/young adult hours). Monday-Friday cadence (breaks Friday-Sunday). 30-45 second target length. Use on-screen text labels, retain captions for muted viewing.
Instagram Reels: Shorter 15-20 sec versions, more music. YouTube Shorts: Full-length extended edits (1-2 min) in playlists.

About this skill

Your Part 1 does fine, then Part 2 gets a third of the views and the series quietly dies. Usually the cause is in the plan. Parts open with "okay so part 2," they hold back the answer to force a follow, and the idea was stretched to seven parts when it only had three. This skill plans series where every part works for a stranger scrolling past and still pulls the people who watched Part 1 into the next one.

What it does

  • Picks a structure that fits your material (steps, mistakes, countdown, story arc, day-count, or a repeating case format) and tells you how many parts the idea can really support
  • Writes a spoken hook for each part that makes sense to a first-time viewer, and moves the "Part 3" label into on-screen text where it belongs
  • Gives each part one takeaway of 12 words or fewer, then merges or cuts parts that overlap
  • Writes the ending line that leads into the next part, plus caption and pinned-comment links back to Part 1, without holding back the answer each part promised
  • Sets up a series kit (name, label position, opening line or shot, cover frame) so viewers recognize the series in the feed
  • Sets a posting schedule and decision rules: when to speed up, extend, or turn the remaining parts into standalone videos

What you get

A part-by-part plan. For each part: its takeaway, spoken hook, on-screen text, beats, payoff, ending line into the next part, and length. Plus the series kit, filming and posting order, decision rules for after Part 1, and a note on which part is weakest. If you paste a series you already posted, you get a diagnosis and rewrite first.

Best for

TikTok, Reels, and Shorts creators, coaches, and small brands who have one idea with depth, a launch week to fill, or a feed of one-off videos they want to connect.

description: Plans a connected 3-7 part short-form video series (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) from one idea. It picks the series structure, gives every part a hook that works for cold viewers and a single payoff, writes the lines that lead from one part to the next, and sets a posting schedule plus extend/cut rules based on how Part 1 performs. Use when the user says "turn this into a series", "plan a part 1, 2, 3 for this", "I want a multi-part TikTok series on X", "nobody watches my part 2s", "my series dies after the first video", "make my one-off videos connect", or "plan a launch week of Reels".
