SEO Audit and Organic Traffic Drop Diagnosis
Finds what is holding back your organic traffic and returns a ranked fix list, with evidence and a way to verify each fix.
Before & after
Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.
Flat organic traffic warrants a full SEO audit. Here are the areas to review: **Technical SEO**: crawlability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexation, broken links **On-page SEO**: title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, keyword usage, internal linking **Content**: quality, depth, freshness, keyword targeting, content gaps **Off-page**: backlink profile, domain authority **User signals**: bounce rate, dwell time, click-through rate Start by checking Google Search Console for crawl errors and which queries you're ranking for. Then look for pages that are close to ranking (positions 11-20) where small improvements could push you to page 1. Do you have Search Console access?
SEO AUDIT — flat traffic. Diagnose the cause before prescribing, because
"flat" has three very different root causes and opposite fixes.
FIRST: WHICH KIND OF FLAT?
Pull Search Console, 16 months, and read the shape:
Impressions flat, position flat → you've maxed your current
content. Need new pages.
Impressions up, clicks flat → ranking but not compelling.
Title/meta problem, not content.
Impressions down, position down → losing ground. Technical or a
core update hit you.
This one read tells you which section below to actually work.
TECHNICAL — the show-stoppers only
• Indexation: pages indexed vs. pages that should be. A big gap here
caps everything else no matter how good the content.
• Core Web Vitals: LCP, CLS. A failing score is a ranking suppressor.
• Mobile render: it's mobile-first indexed; check the mobile view,
not desktop.
THE FASTEST WIN — striking distance
Filter GSC to positions 11–20. These pages already rank, already have
authority, and need a push, not a rewrite. Refresh the on-page target
and internal links to these first. This is where flat traffic moves
in weeks, not quarters.
ON-PAGE
Title tags matching search intent (not just the keyword), one H1,
internal links from your strong pages to your striking-distance ones.
CONTENT GAPS
Terms competitors rank for and you don't. Not "write more" — write
the specific missing pages the SERP rewards.
PRIORITIZED OUTPUT
Week 1 striking-distance refreshes (fastest movement)
Week 2 fix any indexation/CWV show-stopper
Month 2 content gaps (slowest, highest ceiling)
Give me Search Console access or the impressions-vs-clicks trend and
I'll tell you which of the three "flats" you have.About this skill
Your organic traffic dropped or has been flat for months, and the SEO report you got is 90 checklist items with no idea which one matters. This skill works the way a forensic SEO lead does. First it confirms the drop is real. Then it finds where the drop is concentrated, rules out the usual self-inflicted causes, and ranks the fixes by how much traffic each one is costing you.
What it does
- Separates real organic losses from tracking breaks, seasonality, and CTR loss caused by changes on the results page, so you don't fix the wrong problem
- Reads Search Console indexing reasons, canonical conflicts, redirects, and JavaScript rendering gaps before it blames rankings
- Proves keyword cannibalization from query-level data instead of guessing from similar post titles
- Flags pages whose format doesn't match what Google ranks for that query, which on-page tweaks can't fix
- Re-ranks a pasted tool or agency audit: what matters, what's noise, and what it missed
- Attaches evidence and a verification step to every finding
What you get
A diagnosis with the most likely cause and a confidence level. Then a ranked fix table (issue, evidence, pages affected, impact, effort, fix, how to verify), split into quick wins and strategic work, plus the specific data exports that would confirm or rule out each hypothesis.
Best for
Marketers, founders, and in-house SEOs diagnosing a traffic drop, a post-migration loss, or a long plateau, and anyone who needs to know what to fix first.

Use when the user says "audit my site's SEO", "why did our organic traffic drop", "my blog traffic has been flat for six months", "Google isn't indexing my pages", "we lost rankings after the redesign", "is this SEO audit right", or "what should we fix first for SEO".
