Before & after
Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.
Growing from $4M to $10M ARR is an ambitious but achievable goal. Here are some strategies to consider: 1. Focus on customer retention — reducing churn has a compounding effect on growth 2. Expand within existing accounts through upsells and cross-sells 3. Optimize your sales process to improve conversion rates 4. Consider expanding into new market segments 5. Invest in your sales team and ensure they're properly enabled 6. Review your pricing strategy — many SaaS companies are underpriced The key is to build a repeatable, scalable revenue engine. I'd recommend starting by analyzing your current metrics to identify the biggest bottleneck. Would you like me to go deeper on any of these?
$4M → $10M — REVENUE PLAN THE ARITHMETIC FIRST $6M of net new ARR. Where it comes from decides the whole plan: Expansion at 115% NRR on $4M ......... $600K (no new logos needed) Expansion at 130% NRR on $4M ......... $1.2M Remainder from new logos ............. $4.8M–$5.4M NRR is the cheapest $600K on this page. Model it before hiring anyone. SALES CAPACITY REQUIRED At a $40K ACV and a 4-deal/quarter ramped rep: $5.1M new logo ÷ $40K = 128 deals/yr = 8 ramped reps At 70% quota attainment ............. 11 reps carrying quota At a 5-month ramp, hires must land ... 11 by Q3 of this year Rule of 5:1 rep:manager ............. +1 second-line manager PIPELINE COVERAGE 128 deals at a 22% win rate = 582 opportunities. At current marketing output that's the binding constraint, not headcount — model it before signing offer letters. PRICING A 4-year-old $40K ACV in a market that has moved is the most common source of free ARR. Test a 12% list increase on new logos only; grandfather existing. Worth roughly $600K at plan volume with zero added cost. BOARD FORECAST — three cases Commit ....... $8.4M (existing pipeline + 115% NRR, no hiring risk) Plan ......... $10.1M (11 reps land on schedule, 125% NRR) Upside ....... $11.6M (plan + pricing increase holds) THE RISK TO NAME OUT LOUD This plan is hiring-dependent and the ramp is 5 months. A quarter of hiring slip costs roughly $900K of in-year ARR. Start recruiting before the board approves, not after.
About this skill

What it does
- Derives the pipeline coverage you need from your own win rate
- Calculates reps needed with ramp, historical attainment, and attrition
- Sets up forecast categories with entry criteria and accuracy tracking
- Flags stale pipeline, comp plan traps, and end-of-quarter discounting
- Decomposes NRR and GRR by segment
What you get
Short answers with formulas, small calculation tables from your numbers, and one recommendation naming the biggest constraint in your revenue engine.
Best for

Use when a founder, sales leader, or RevOps person asks "how much pipeline do we need?", "how many reps should we hire to hit $X?", "why do our forecasts keep missing?", "is 3x coverage enough?", "how should I set quotas?", "should we change the comp plan?", or "why did NRR drop?".
