Content Style Guide Builder
Builds a content style guide so every asset stays on brand.
Before & after
Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.
Based on your posts, here's a content style guide: Tone: Your writing is casual and friendly, with a professional undertone. You come across as approachable and knowledgeable. Voice: Conversational, first-person, and authentic. Style guidelines: - Use short paragraphs for readability - Include personal anecdotes where relevant - Avoid overly technical jargon - End with a question to drive engagement - Use emojis sparingly Formatting: Break up text with line breaks and use bullet points for lists. This should help your VA match your voice. Let me know if you'd like me to refine anything!
STYLE GUIDE — derived from 10 posts
THE RULE THAT MATTERS MOST
You open with a concrete scene, never a claim. 9 of 10 posts start with a specific moment ("A client called me at 11pm..."). Zero start with "Here's why X matters." Your VA will want to open with the claim. Don't let them.
SENTENCE MECHANICS
Median sentence: 11 words. Longest observed: 28.
You use one-line paragraphs as beats — 4.2 per post on average.
Em dashes: 2–3 per post. Semicolons: never (0 across 10).
WORDS YOU USE
"actually", "the real problem", "here's the thing", "worth doing"
WORDS YOU NEVER USE — hard ban list
"leverage" (v.), "unlock", "game-changer", "in today's landscape",
"delve", "elevate", "supercharge", "it's not just X, it's Y"
STRUCTURE — 8 of 10 posts
1. Scene (2–3 lines)
2. The turn — "But here's what nobody told me"
3. Three specifics, numbered, with real figures
4. One-line close that restates the scene
NUMBERS
Always exact, never rounded for effect. You wrote "$4,180" and "31 days," not "$4k" and "a month."
CTA
7 of 10 end with a question about the reader's own situation. Never "drop a comment below."
EMOJI
Zero in body copy. Occasionally one in a list marker. Your VA should default to none.
FAILING EXAMPLE — reject this
"Let's delve into why customer retention is a game-changer 🚀"
Breaks: banned words ×2, claim-first opener, emoji in body.About this skill
