Same prompt, same agent — the only difference is the skill.

I can help you improve your script opening. The key is grabbing attention early. You could start with a hook that makes people curious, or ask a question, or make a bold statement. Lots of approaches work depending on your content and audience. Do you have the full script? I'd need to see where the main payoff or climax moment is so I can work backward from there. What kind of video is this—educational, entertaining, or sales-focused?

SCRIPT ANALYSIS AND REWRITE

PAYOFF MOMENT IDENTIFIED
Climber reaches summit after 8 minutes of struggle → we want audience invested in the attempt
Current opening: generic "today I'm climbing a mountain, hope you enjoy"
Problem: no tension, no stakes, viewers don't care if climber succeeds

REWRITE (BUILDS TOWARD SUMMIT PAYOFF)

OLD OPENING (12 seconds)
"Hey everyone, I'm going to climb Mount Rainier today. Hope you enjoy the video."

NEW OPENING (20 seconds)
"Sixty years ago, my grandfather stood at this exact trailhead and turned back. Bad weather, bad knees, bad luck. Today, I'm going to finish what he started."

WHY THIS WORKS
→ Personal stakes (it's not just a climb, it's a promise)
→ Mystery hook (why did he turn back? will she make it?)
→ Time compression (60 years of waiting, 8 minutes of video)
→ Emotional thread (viewers root for her because of the backstory)

OPENING SEQUENCE REVISED
Frame 1: Close-up of old photo (black and white, grandfather at trailhead)
Frame 2: Cut to present day (same location, our climber standing)
Narration: "Sixty years ago..."
Frame 3: Wide shot of trail and peak
Narration: "...I'm going to finish what he started"
Frame 4: Climber adjusts gear, determined face
Narration: "Let's go." (minimalist, confident)

TENSION BUILD (first 3 minutes)
Minute 1 → Early climbing is easy, confidence builds
Minute 2 → Weather gets worse (clouds, wind), climber shows doubt
Minute 3 → Climber considers turning back (parallel to grandfather's choice)
Viewer thought: "Is she going to quit?"

CLIMAX PAYOFF (minute 8)
Summit revealed, climber reaches peak, tears of accomplishment
Full circle: grandfather's failure becomes her victory
Viewer feels: satisfied, emotionally complete

METRICS TO TRACK
• Watch time at 1-minute mark (if people drop, opening isn't working)
• Comments mentioning grandfather or legacy (emotion resonating)
• Audience retention curve (should plateau after summit, not drop mid-video)
